I'm a blogger for the Phonak Community blog, 'Open Ears', a site which covers all aspects of living with hearing loss, including technology which is designed to make our lives easier.

Earlier this year, I wrote a post asking if other hearing aid users found it as difficult as I do to find working hearing loops at venues and customer service points. Responses highlighted the fact that many hearing aid users are not aware of what a loop and a telecoil do and so several posts followed giving more information.

My latest article on the Phonak Community blog discusses the limitations of the (so-called) 'portable loops' that we so often see here in the UK and explains why here at Access Solutions, we don't recommend them.
