via training and consultancy

Our aims

To improve access to hospitality services for people with severe hearing loss by working with the hospitality industry, delivering training, consultancy, and supplying specialist equipment.

To raise awareness of the access, safety needs and legislative requirements in the UK with regard to provision for people with hearing loss accessing spas, conference facilities, visitor attractions and 'paid sleeping accommodation'.

We will do this by:

  • Making recommendations for improving accessibility, safety features and procedures

  • Delivering training to raise standards of customer care for people with hearing loss

  • Supplying specialist life-saving equipment

  • Supplying and installing hearing loops

  • Recommending quiet appliances

  • Recognising and rewarding businesses which attain our Sounds Good Charter Mark

  • Promote ‘hearing loss friendly’ businesses directly to potential customers via www.hearinglossfriendly.co.uk
