Praise for Access for All training

Access Solutions is proud to have been part of the training consortium, Access Unlimited, which was set up in order to develop and deliver the 'Access for All' training for Visit England earlier this year. Our partners in the project were The Accessible Training Company from Derbyshire and Visits Unlimited from Halifax. We really enjoyed working with such talented and dedicated professionals who are all parents of children with disabilities and shared a weath of knowledge and experience not just with the course delegates but with us too! Thanks Katie, Jane, Gillian and Matt.

We co-delivered sessions, with Katie from Visits Unlimited, in three of the seven destinations: Lincoln, Brighton and Kent and there's a video of me and Kaite sharing our personal stories in Brighton coming soon to a YouTube screen near you.

In the meantime, we thought it might be nice to share some of the wonderful feedback we received about the training so, here goes:

"Incredibly insightful! Fantastic course and very well organised and informative. Excellent trainers!"

"Very interesting, quite eye-opening and makes you think differently about accessibility."

"Enlightening. Fun! Educational. Positive. Motivational."

"Well paced and held my interest. Brilliant speakers/leaders! The content was informative and useful with how to apply what's learnt."

"It was honestly one of the best courses I’ve done – thank you to you and your colleagues for sharing your personal experiences and knowledge.” Suzanne Mantell, Visitor Services Manager, VisitBrighton

"The presenters are a great source of knowledge and inspiration."

"Informative, friendly delivery and great support during exercises."

"Very informative and thought-provoking."

"A well thought-out day - well-paced, interactive and educational."

“The training was delivered in a fun and pro-active way, and all the delegates were able to understand the difference that disabled people and their families face on a daily basis. The course was both thought-provoking and light-hearted at the same time. I certainly learnt a lot, and gained a lot by attending the session, and am now fired up to encourage all tourism businesses in our destination to fully consider the benefits of making their businesses as accessible as they can to all."
